To keep your food hot or cold longer, we recommend priming your insulated food container before use.
- To prime for heat: pour 1-2cm of boiling water into your container, rest the lid on top and let the steam warm the container for a few minutes. Please note: do not screw the lid on when priming the container for heat.
- To prime for cold: put your container in the freezer for 10 mins or more, then add the cold food of your choice. Alternatively, fill your container with ice, secure the lid, wait a few minutes, then pour it out before adding your cold food or beverage.
If you live in the Geelong area and would like to collect your order from our store, simply select ‘pickup’ at the checkout. Check our Instagram page (@baykids.au) for up-to-date opening hours.
If you live outside of this area (but still within Australia), a flat rate of AU$10 (standard shipping) or $15 (express shipping) applies for orders under AU$150. Orders over AU$150 will be sent for free with standard shipping, or can upgrade to express for a discounted rate of $5.
Please note, these rates exclude bulky items, Banwood and furniture. Orders containing bulky items will be charged a higher rate for shipping (applied at checkout), and the free shipping threshold will not apply.

Domestic orders placed between Tues 16th and Fri 19th of December will be upgraded to Express Post. Simply select ‘Standard Shipping’ at checkout and we’ll take care of the rest.
Orders placed before 12pm will be packed and sent on the same business day and you will receive a tracking number upon dispatch.
We provide free gift wrapping, please add an order note at checkout if you'd like your purchase gift wrapped. Cards can also be purchased here.
Banwood:
We offer free shipping within Australia over $200 for orders containing Banwood products.
Banwood items are shipped from their warehouse in Sydney. If you place an order including a Banwood item, it will be shipped separately and different shipping timeframes may apply. We have selected items available for local pick up in-store, please contact us for more information.
Pre-orders:
From time to time we offer items for pre-order. This means we don't have the item in stock just yet, but you can pre-purchase to secure your size. Orders containing pre-order items will not be shipped until we have all the items in stock. If you would like other items sooner, please place a separate order.
Furniture:
Furniture (including Mustard Made) is only available for local pick up or delivery (within 25km of Geelong, VIC). Please contact us for a shipping quote if you live outside the area and would like to purchase furniture.
International orders:
Check our Shipping Policy for more information about the countries we currently ship to.
For purchases made in December, we have extended our regular returns period. If you would like to return or exchange an item you must notify us by Monday 5th January. We cannot accept returns after this date.
Returns will still be subject to our normal policy, and you will be eligible for an exchange or store credit to be used at a later date.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund, unless an item is faulty.
All items must be returned in their original packaging with all tags attached. Due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of swimwear, jewellery or cosmetics.
Sale items are not refundable, or able to be exchanged, unless faulty.
Purchases made during our Black Friday Sale (Wed 26th Nov - Mon 1st Dec) will be subject to our regular returns policy of 7 days from the date of delivery.
Original shipping costs cannot be refunded, and shipping for a returned item is the customer’s responsibility. We recommend using a trackable shipping method for peace of mind.
